Problem:
The hotel was facing a special inspection due to Quality Assurance evaluation failures. Cleanliness was poor and attention to detail was non-existent. There were numerous problems on the QA Success Plan. Appropriate staff training was a serious issue.

Solution:
Integral worked with ownership to quickly develop an emergency action plan. The Integral staff worked closely with the hotel team to execute the action plan. Integral installed a new General Manager.

Results:
The hotel scored an acceptable on the QA evaluation and has passed all subsequent inspections. With consistent management the hotel celebrated a revenue increase of 20.6%, a total of $179,000 over 2003. Another impressive mark is that the hotel has experienced a phenomenal jump of 598 positions in the Hampton TQS Balanced Scorecard system.
