Starwood Hotels & Resorts to Open in Tallahassee, FL

 BIRMINGHAM, AL - Integral Hospitality Solutions and the Bhula Group of Hotels have joined forces to develop the first Starwood Hotels affiliated property in the capital city of Florida. The newly created Four Points by Sheraton – Tallahassee North - will open in early March with 100 guest rooms & suites, the Capital Café & Lobby Bar, Fitness Center, Business Center, Sundry Shop and Outdoor Pool.
The hotel is located on Village Green Way at the intersection of Capital Circle NE and Interstate 10 (Exit 203 - Raymond Diehl Road) and is surrounded by great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The hotel is convenient to all parts of the city including the campus of Florida State University, the State Capital complexes, the Federal Courthouse, two major hospitals, the regional airport and major highways.
The hotel will be the first Starwood Hotels location in Tallahassee, offering a way for Starwood Preferred Guests (SPG) members to earn their SPG points during their visits to the area. The Starwood Hotels and Resorts system includes over 900 hotels worldwide that operate under well known brands such as Westin, Sheraton, St. Regis, W Hotels, Le Meridien, The Luxury Collection, Four Points by Sheraton and two new brands… aloft and Element.
The hotel’s new General Manager, Mr. Chuck Simon, is a Starwood veteran, having operated other Sheraton hotels in Virginia and Florida. His management team includes Mr. Chris Foerst as Director of Sales & Marketing and Mr. Brandon King as Assistant General Manager, both of whom are from the local (Tallahassee) area.
Integral Hospitality currently manages about 40 hotels and has several new development projects underway. The Bhula Group of Hotels, led by Mr. Rick Bhula, is a Tallahassee based company that owns several hotels and is actively developing others. The Four Points project involved the acquisition of an existing building, an extensive renovation of the interior and exterior of the facility, and managing the property’s affiliation with Starwood Hotels, one of the world’s leading hotel companies.
