Released: 11/9/2006
By: Robin Oliver
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Integral Hospitality Solutions recently closed a deal to add the Holiday Inn Express Tombstone to its list of managed properties. In addition, the company will manage the Hampton Inn Sierra Vista, set to open its doors in March.
The Holiday Inn Express Tombstone is the leading hotel property in the small tourism-oriented city. The 60-room hotel, which opened in 2003, is located adjacent to historic Boothill Graveyard and less than a mile from numerous other top tourist attractions such as the O.K. Corral & Tombstone Historama, the Crystal Palace Saloon and Tombstone Courthouse State Park.
The 58-room Hampton Inn Sierra Vista will be the first Hilton Hotels Corporation property in the military town. Sierra Vista is home to Fort Huachuca, which remains an active U.S. Army post more than 120 years after it was established as a fort. The Fort Huachuca Army Intelligence Museum and the Fort Huachuca Historical Museum are top attractions for military visitors.
It is expected that government clientele will be a major portion of business for the Hampton Inn Sierra Vista.
“These two properties are a great way for us to break into Arizona," Murray said. “Holiday Inn Express Tombstone is the No. 2 Holiday Inn Express in the state in terms of guest satisfaction and the Hampton Inn in Sierra Vista will be a welcome addition to that market.”
Integral’s arrival in Arizona follows shortly after it added two Park City, Utah, properties to its roster in September. The majority of the company’s properties are located in the eastern and southeastern states.
“Our hospitality management strategies can be easily individualized and applied at properties around the globe,” said Integral President Bill Murray. “As opportunities arise to enter new markets, we are certainly eager to continue to grow our reach.”
