BIRMINGHAM, AL - Integral Hospitality Solutions is planning the construction of a 121-room full-service Holiday Inn adjacent to Colonial Promenade Alabaster. The hotel will include an attached Uno Chicago Grill restaurant, which Integral will operate. Plans call for construction to be complete by the end of 2007.
Bill Murray, president of Integral Hospital Solutions, said he wanted the hotel’s restaurant to be a quality brand that would draw customers from neighboring communities. He chose Uno Chicago Grill because it is a unique concept with good curb appeal and a personal favorite. In 1943, Ike Sewell opened the original Uno® in downtown Chicago, kicking off what would later become an American phenomenon -- Chicago's Original Deep Dish Pizza®. In addition to the world-famous deep dish pizza, the extensive menu features everything from sliders (mini cheeseburgers) to steaks to seafood. “They have a unique menu and the best deep dish pizza you have ever eaten,” Murray said.
This will be the first restaurant under Integral’s management, but Murray said he and other Integral team members have had career experience with the construction and operation of restaurants.
